When Vogue honors your birthday with three covers…
You know you’re a success. Which is the case for Dutch topmodel Doutzen Kroes. For her thirtieth birthday – which was January 23th – Vogue Netherlands released three different covers featuring this beauty. One even has her two babies on it. Which one is your favorite?
So here’s what Vogue’s website says: three covers, three photographers, the locations, three stylists, thirty trends. Sounds great right? Did I mention the number three is one of my lucky numbers (the other is nine actually, three times three, get it?) already? Therefor I need to get my hands on this edition.
The first one you see up here is probably the most special one, since it also features her two kids and – on the inside – husband Sunnery. It’s shot in New York by Paul Bellaart and styled by Jetteke van Lexmond. The second cover shows the Los Angeles desert and is created by photographer Jan Welters and Vogue stylist Marije. And the third? That one had to be Amsterdam and so that happened. Photographer Nico and stylist Saskia van Langevelde created this beautiful picture, though honestly the second is truly my favorite. What’s yours?
