Fall is here,
And what’s a better excuse for an interior make-over than a new season? Is there any? Didn’t think so. But I can imagine you don’t really now where to start. I’ve been there. Or, who am I kidding, I’m still there. That’s why I went looking for some inspiration. And found some. Here’s 3 steps to take:
1. Color on the wall
The best and easiest way to change the entire look and feel of your interior is to paint a wall. Do something daring, will you? Like copper red, dark blue or deep green. I’m actually going for that last one. I haven’t done it yet, but the paint has been bought so there’s no way back. Keep an eye on my Instagram, I’m sure I will keep you posted.
2. Scented candles
Okay, maybe not multiply that one. Use one scented candle – I prefer the ones from Bath & Body Works because they smell for days without even being lit – and light up the rest of your room with regular candles. I personally have a very big lighting problem in my home: I really dislike artificial light. So when fall comes I light as many candles as I can.
3. Pillows and plaids
I feel like I write about this every year and I probably do, because it’s my go to thing when things get cold out there. Especially since I live in quite the old house and it gets damn cold. I collect plaids and pillows around me. Everywhere. In cute fall colors of course – matching that wall.
Are you all up in a fall interior already or can you use some help? Well, you’re in luck! Here’s some extra inspiration for you:
