Did you know there’s an eclipse going on right now? In the Netherlands that is. And with the damage such wonder of nature can do to your eyes, of course I see this as an excuse to talk about sunglasses again. Because hello, these are made out of stone! How awesome is that? FYI, I do know sunglasses don’t actually protect your eyes during an eclipse.
Say hi to my latest obsession: marble printed sneakers. You see, when I adopted black, white and grey as my go-to colors for winter I kinda underestimated my love for prints. And black and white prints just get a little boring after a while. So when I ran across a marble printed iPad-cover my heart started to beat just a little bit faster. Can you imagine what it did when I found marble printed shoes?
She started out as a reality star, but by now Kendall Jenner is a true fashion model. A couple months ago I saw an editorial in Vogue featuring Kendall Jenner and was pleasantly surprised. Truth is, there’s nothing to be surprised about anymore. Which is why, after seeing the photo up here, I couldn’t wait to see the rest of Kendall’s editorial for Allure. And there’s a special guest involved too.
…and I’m pretty sure they will love it, because how awesome are the kicks up here? Do you recognize them? That’s the Nike Air Huarache Triple Black right there. One of the most popular sneakers of last year. They’re incredibly desirable and extremely hard to find. Until now, because as of tomorrow these beauties are back in stock.
Every once in a while there’s a social media account you just have to follow. Like Conde Elevator on Twitter or Mini Style Hacker on Instagram. Right now there’s another Instagram account that made the online world shake to its foundations. Say hi to Skellie, who’s photos are pretty dead, so to say.
I’d title this post “Kate Moss, like you’ve never seen her before”, but let’s be honest: we have seen some unflattering photos of her before. Not that these are though, they’re actually beautiful. Which only proves that not using Photoshop doesn’t necessarily mean the pictures will be bad. You can simply not disagree with me on that, after seeing these.
Yes, you heard me. Lately I’ve been seeing more and more articles containing tips about adding color to your wardrobe. For me though, those tips are unnecessary. I’m actually doing the opposite: draining color from my wardrobe. Wearing only black, white and grey seems like a good idea to me right now. Except for a little bit of red lipstick of course. That’s always the right choice.
Lots of gold and pearls and a little bit of creepiness, does that sound like Maison Margiela to you? Though not. Even though the couture shows of the designer brand has featured face covering pieces before, none of those gave me the chills like this one. Might be because this is the ultimate combination between the brand and designer John Galliano. This is a piece from the infamous designers first collection for Maison Margiela. But of course there is more to be seen.
Rain is pouring outside while I’m writing this so do you wanna guess what I’m wearing right now? One big fluffy sweater indeed. It’s my favorite item once winter really starts kicking in. I swear, the thought of wearing a comfi sweater really helps me getting out of bed in the morning. Which is why I went looking for some inspiration online.
